An Easy Baby Cardigan Knitting Pattern

The Angus baby cardigan knitting pattern makes a simple raglan cardigan, knitted from the top down. The cosy cardigan is made in DK yarn.

The pdf pattern comes with instructions for ages newborn to 12 months. The cardigan is knitted in one piece so no seaming is required.

Gauge: 22 stitches and 30 rows in stockinette stitch = 10cm x 10cm / (4in x 4in) on 4mm needles

Suggested Needles:
Circular Needles 60cm in length: 4.00mm (US 6) and 3.75mm (US 5).
Double Point Needles: 4.00mm (US 6) and 3.75mm (US 5) – you may wish to knit the sleeves with the magic loop technique, in which case you will not need double pointed needles.

You will also need: 5 x 15mm Buttons, Tapestry Needle, Stitch Markers (4).
